Inspired by Design and Driven by Engineering
Excellence, JACLO Creates Beauty that Lasts

Family-owned and operated, JACLO is built on five generations of industry experience and remains committed to the same principles Jack Lowe had when he established the company in 1961—to make great products, provide great service and deliver great value.

Current CEO Larry Brodey also strongly believes in the beauty of design. “Having a deep-rooted passion for art, I can’t help but see decorative plumbing as an art form,” he said. “Every day, I challenge my team to create products inspired by design and driven by engineering excellence—to create beauty that lasts.”

Since Brodey purchased the company in 1996, he has grown JACLO’s product offering from hand showers and shower heads to 100,000 SKUs including a full range of faucets, shower systems, accessories, grab bars, channel drains and decorative specialties that the company’s craftsmen have designed to complement every design style.

“We are a one-source manufacturer for everything made of brass within the bathroom and we offer 35-plus unique finishes including metallic finishes and other funky colors,” said Anthony Hajjar, vice president of business development at JACLO.

Nothing adds character and completes the feel of a bathroom more than the luxurious luster of a beautiful finish. That is why JACLO has dedicated an entire team of engineers and true American craftsmen to creating more than 35 unique finishes. Consistently developing new aesthetics and patinas, JACLO is not just ahead of the trends, it sets the trends.

Cranford, New Jersey is home to JACLO’s corporate headquarters and design lab—and it’s where the company conducts much of the manufacturing process from prototyping, machining, polishing, assembly, testing and the warehousing of more than 100,000 products.

“Having everything all in one place not only enables us to carefully monitor every little, minute detail of the process, but the vertical integration also allows us to provide supreme customer service—not to mention one of the fastest turnaround times in the business,” Hajjar said. “We want customers to come to us in the beginning of the spec process and be their one-source manufacturer. Instead of going into three to five catalogs, we want them to come to JACLO for all of their items.”

The company aims to grow in the residential and hospitality markets. “We have been putting a lot of money into the project business and in the past 5-7 years it has grown leaps and bounds,” Hajjar said. “Luxury Products Group (LPG) members should come to us on the project side and on the residential end as well.”

Whether your customer’s next project includes 300 hotel rooms, a large condo building, public space bathroom or model room, Jaclo’s team is dedicated to working with you from concept to completion to make the design vision come true. The supplier’s expertise in plumbing includes, but is not limited to, fixture recommendations to balance design and budget, specification documentation, release schedules, room matrixes and on-site availability not only during installation but ongoing support after the property opens.

JACLO is always looking forward to coming out with new products. The company also plans to make its website searches easier, enrich its website content and connect with more customers online. “I urge everyone to follow us on Instagram for design ideas,” Hajjar said.

Hajjar is personally committed to the plumbing distribution industry by serving on a committee with several other vendors who have monthly calls with LPG leadership. “Peter Ollestad and Jeff McDowell are very good listeners,” Hajjar said. “A lot of other buying groups don’t ask their vendors questions. This group is more member-driven. This group is all encompassing, and it listens to its manufacturers. LPG brings value to its manufacturers and it’s a pleasure to work with this group.”

JACLO has been a member of LPG since its inception in 2009 and has always been a tremendous supporter of the group, according to Ollestad.

“On a personal note, I have worked together with Anthony for a great number of LPG EXPOs; he is one of the greats in our industry,” Ollestad said. “I encourage everyone in LPG and IMARK to take a good look at JACLO.”
